A new year on it's way!

I can't believe that 2008 is over! It feels like it just started! I have no idea what to look forward to! I'm hoping it's better than this year! Well here's to a new year! Happy New Year to everyone!!

Christmas time.

Well I can't believe it's over:( I had a very good Christmas and so did Audrey! Okay, the best part of the day was Audrey opening her American Girl doll by the name of KIT! She had no idea she was getting it, all she knew was she really wanted it and she assumed that I would not be able to afford it, BUT God has provided enough plus more! Oh the meaning of tithing, it's FINALLY getting through my thick head! I was and still am so very shocked at how much I was able to buy, not for just Audrey, but for my whole family! Let me tell you though, when she was opening her doll a rush of emotion just flooded me! I am not one to cry, but I was boo hooing like a baby! I guess I was just so happy that I could get it for her and for her to be so excited to actually have it in her arms! Well I sure do hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family!

We got our tree!

Well we made it out last night to get our tree! We didn't get to go cut our own, it was to late and it would have been a little muddy. So we just went to Lowe's! We brought home the first tree, there really wasn't a lot to choose from. This is about the time we always get a tree and there is normally a whole lot more trees! The one we got is great though! I just love decorating the tree with Audrey, we are the one's that love it the most. Well here are a few pics!

Oh my!!

I can't believe it's 2 weeks till Christmas!! I need to do some more shopping, but for the most part I'm pretty much done. I really really really want to go to Dollywood though! Alright C we need to go next week! Let's plan on it! I don't really have much to say, I just wanted to post something. Oh yeah, we are going to try and go get our tree this weekend!! We are going to go and cut our own, we have done it in the past and I like going and picking just the right one and then all taking turns at cutting it down! It's so much fun, I can't wait! I'll take pictures and post them later!

Okay so here's my Christmas countdown that I bought at Scrappin in The City! I had been trying to get one since before Thanksgiving, well I finally got the kit to make it on Dec 1! I started it that afternoon and was finished by midnight! I really wanted it done so Audrey could start counting down the days!! I do like how it turned out especially since I did it so fast. Here it is!

Happy Turkey Day!! Gobble gobble!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I have lot's to be thankful for!

Just a few things off the top of my head:

My parent's for sure, for allowing me and my sometimes crazy child to still live at home and not have to find a place to live on our own and pay bills and work all day and not have time to spend at my own place, yeah that was probably too much info. I really am very thankful for my parents!

I'm thankful for my wonderful daughter whom I love so much and who has made me who I am today! I try to be the best mom I can be!

I'm thankful for good friends who will just listen if I need someone to listen to me or just go hang out with just cause. Someone that I can look up to, everyone needs someone to look up to, even adults!

For my brothers who are all very different but very much alike! I hope to always have a good relationship with them as we all grow older! And I hope that they will always stand up for me and have my back, cause I would do the same for them!

For my job at the moment, I really do enjoy going to work and cutting up with the people there. I may not make a whole lot of money, but I don't mind getting up in the morning to go.

Well that's all I'm going to put. I sure hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving and had lot's of yummy food!

Whooo hooo!

I did it, I hemmed my own jeans myself! Well I did have help from my nanny, she showed me how to do it, but I pinned them and sewed them myself. I think I did a pretty good job, I'm not a big fan of hemming my jeans but when your not over 5'6 you kinda have to! So proud of myself!

Since my brother has moved back in, Audrey just loooooves spending time with him! He just plays and has fun with her and she enjoys every second! Like tonight he was listening to music on the computer and she just sat next to him and he started being goofy and playing around with her! And now they are watching one of his movies, James and the Giant Peach, together on the chaise! I hope that they always have this special relationship!

I want to sew!

I want to make this bag!! It is so cute and it doesn't look very hard. I even downloaded the pattern for it in hopes that I will make it one day! Maybe in the near future!

Nothing much here!

Well I've not posted anything in a while! Just a few things happening, my younger brother Brandon has moved back home so I had to give up my craft space for a little while:( boo hoo. Yeah I'm a little sad about it, but I'll get over it. I am going to get to set up my craft stuff in my bedroom after we finish my bathroom which is connected to my bedroom! So hopefully that will happen soon! ANYWAY..... I am pretty much done shopping for Audrey's Christmas presents!!! I have NEVER been done so early, I'm usually shopping up to Christmas eve! So I am very stoked about being done so early!! Ummmm the weather outside is sooo chilly, but I love it! I have forgotten how cold it gets this time of year, it sure does feel like Christmas!! I sure do love the holiday season. Oh yeah, I'm going to be an aunt again!!! Brian and Samantha are having another baby!! I can't wait to have another baby in the family, maybe this one will be a boy, for Eric, he really wants a nephew!

Election upset!!

Well I've had a day to think about the outcome of the election AND I'm VERY upset with how it ended!! I truly believed that McCain was going to win, I just knew there were lot's of christians praying for this election and that they were going to vote McCain! I did hear that there was a very high percentage of christians who voted for Obama, that's so disappointing!! I sure hope all the people who voted for this man get the changes they expect and it would be nice if he did make some good changes, but I just don't think he will! Sorry for all this, I just needed to vent a little bit.

On another note:
I am wanting to get creative and make some stuff for the holidays! I don't know what I want to make I just want to make something! Also I kinda would like to make some homemade gifts to give too! Alright Carla when are we getting together to make some fun crafts?!

Halloween fun!!

I had a little pirate girl following me around all evening yesterday! She was pretty cute and fun to have around though! We went to Trintys hoedown and had a lot of fun. We try to go every year just cause. I enjoy going cause I get to see people I used to work with at the parents day out there. Plus it's all FREE!! AND you get a good sized bag of CANDY!!!!

Look what I made :-)

Me and my buddy Carla went to a class at an awesome store called Scrappin in the City! Actually she talked me into it and I'm so glad she did, we made a crayon acrylic book. It was lot's of fun learning new things, like how to dye acrylic with alcohol inks! I want to make another one now! Everyone needs to take a class there sometime, it's just so much fun to learn a new crafty idea!

Ahhhhh....... it feels like fall, it smells like fall, I can't wait till it STAYS like fall!!

Today was such an awesome day!! When I took Audrey to school this morning it felt sooo nice out! Fall is my FAVORITE season and I'm extra excited this year cause I missed fall last year. See I was not in TN for fall last year, we were in FL and you really don't get much change in the weather down there. So while everyone here was going to get a pumpkin and go on hay rides and look at the beautiful leaves full of color I was in FL still thinking it was summertime! I didn't think that I missed it so much, but with the weather today so much like a fall day I got so happy, like I had never experienced the wonderful season of fall!( even though it's not really fall yet!) Anyway.... I just can't wait to take fall pictures outside and carve a pumpkin with friends and maybe I'll go to a corn maze this year!!

Indian Boundary camping trip!!!

We went camping again and it was lot's of fun! I really enjoy the great outdoors, I don't really do much but I truly love it! The only bad thing about this trip was my air mattress went flat so me and Audrey ended up on the ground! It wasn't so bad, I just slept on my back all night, I did have a hard time getting to sleep though! Luckily it was the last night that it decided to go flat!! Here is a slide show of pictures cause I took so many, I figured since I didn't take many last time that this time I would take LOT'S and that I did! I did get some pretty pictures that I want to change to black and white. Ummmm...... I guess that's all for now, I don't really have any cool stories to tell about this trip maybe next time!

Just having fun!

We went to my grandparents for dinner the other night and me and Audrey had to mow the backyard, which is fine cause we like to do that, they have a riding lawn mower so it's fun! After we finished mowing we went across the street to the neighbors house to pick apples from there tree. It was a lot of fun, Audrey had never got to go and do that. I have some in the past when I was younger. Luckily I brought my camera that evening, I was so glad that I did cause I got to take some pictures of everyone picking apples. So here are a few of my favorites!




This was also Audrey first day back to school, she is a third grader now!! That's so hard to believe, her classroom is on the top floor, I had no idea 3rd grade was on the top floor, she is growing so fast! She had a very good day and she really likes her teacher.Audrey eating her breakfast.
