Gone Camping!!

We finally got to use out tent!! We had never been tent camping b4, we always used a camper. Well we decided to go. Of all the places to go we went to one without showers, no water hook-up, plus no power! It turned out to be very fun! I really enjoyed camping in a tent, having air mattresses helped too! This is our wonderful tent!

We went to the Cades Cove campground, and there you have to worry about bears. So each night we had to make sure ALL food was put in containers and put in cars that way the bears won't come to our campsite! While there we HAD to drive the Cades Cove loop, of course! We have always drove it Hoping to see bears, I would say out of all the times I've been and I've been A LOT, I've only seen two bears! This time was awesome, we saw two momma bears and four cubs! Not only did we see them, one of the bear families was right next to the car!! I was pretty scared but SUPER excited! The cubs were climbing a tree next to the car and the mom was there close! Crazy people were getting out of there cars to take pictures and that momma bear did NOT like it! She would run away a little bit and stand up to look around and then she would run back to the tree where the cubs were! I just knew that momma was gonna get her some dinner that day!!

This is Audrey with 2 cicadas! These things were EVERYWHERE, Audrey enjoyed picking them up and throwing them in the air so they could fly. I don't think she really helped, but she thinks she did!

Fun at the lake!!

This weekend we went and visited some friends camping on the lake. They were going out on their boat so Audrey, mom, and myself went along with them. Audrey got to go tubing for the first time in her life!!! She LOVED it and was not afraid at ALL! I was a little nervous about her doing it, but I trusted the boat driver enough to let her go! I've decided that I want a man with a boat!! I had so much fun just riding on the boat watching Audrey in the water! Maybe next time I'll go out on a tube!!

Update

Just an update on life right now. I do have a job now working part time cleaning appliances, I enjoy it and it's flexible and I need that right now since schools out now!!! It's officially summertime now!

My pappaw is doing great, he actually goes this Friday to get his new "leg". He's going to learn how to walk all over again. He can do it!

These are some pictures from the past couple of days. We have been playing basketball out back since it's cleaned out. I'm even enjoying it, even though I'm terrible at the game! My sister-in-law brought Penelope over the other night so I TRIED to get some good pictures, she is so ROTTEN! I did manage to get a few good ones. Then there's just some nature pics I wanted to take. Enjoy!

Job hunting STINKS!

I am getting a little down about finding a job. I really thought when I got back in town I would have no problem getting a job. I guess I was SO wrong about that. I've been looking in the child care field so I could take Audrey or at least have a class she could be in for the summer. I don't even know if thats what I want anymore. I think I want to try something else I just don't know what I would do! I in my mid twenties and I have no other experience but working with kids. Plus I'm a little afraid to try something else. I just don't think that I could work a "desk" job and make enough money to live on AND pay for Audrey's child care in the summer! I'm so fixing to FREAK OUT! I need some serious guidance about my future!!!

Lord please help me. I'm trying to stay positive, but I can only stay positive for so long!

My calendar book

I finally got to make a calendar book. This past weekend was my churches ladies retreat and we got to pick 4 different classes to take on Saturday. One of them was a calendar making class, so of course I did it, and of course my best bud Carla did it with me. She knows how to make them too and has a bigger one and we are going to make another one together sometime. Anyway, I was thrilled to finally make one and I think it looks pretty good. I really enjoy being creative!
