My 100th post!!

This is my 100th post! I really didn't think it would take me this long to get here, but it did. So..... TA DA!!

My daughter is such a model! I love to take pictures of Audrey, since she is the only kid I have I take A LOT of pictures of her! I recently gave her a pair of boots that I've had, but never wore and she looks so stinking cute in them! She had on this really pretty dress and those boots so I had to take pics of her. Here are those pictures, enjoy!

Wow it's a been a long time!!

I have not blogged in SO LONG! I just hate sitting down and trying to figure out what to say. Since it's been since July, school started back and Audrey started dance again. Work is going good. It's finally feeling like fall here in TN! Fall is MY MOST FAVORITE SEASON!! It just recently cooled off so I can believe it's fall! I would like to go fall shopping, but I am now on a budget and seem to be broke all the time! Why is it when I'm trying to save my money and spend only when needed I NEVER have any money. Oh well I'm trying to become a responsible adult, boo!

I am so ready to go pick a pumkin and carve it, go pick apples to eat, hay rides, smores, hot dogs, and so much more. Oh and UT football!! My blood is definitley orange and white, I know the VOLS aren't doing so great, but I do support them.

We recently went to a hot air balloon fest at a local community college here in town and it was SO MUCH FUN! Lot's of people too! We stood in line for a funnel cake for about 30 minutes!! I know, why would we do that?! Cause they are so yummy! It was cool to watch the balloons fill up and get really big. Then when they were all blown up, they did a balloon glow. I'd say there were probably 10-12 balloons?! I might be exagerating a little. I'll put some pictures on so you can see how cool it was!

Oh yeah, we went to the TN Valley Fair in September. That was fun too. We only went one time, good thing too! It was not cheap! My boss gave me tickets to use, but I still ended up spending $58! I couldn't afford to go more than once! I didn't take any pics with my camera, I just used my phone.

So that pretty much sums things up from the last couple of months!

My baby girl is 10!!!

I can't believe my child is 10 now! It kinda makes me feel old! I can't believe I'm old enough to HAVE a 10 yr old! So what. She had a very good birthday, we celebrated a whole weekend! We spent the night in hotel close to home with a POOL! She is ALWAYS asking to go spend the night at a hotel so she can play in the pool and pretend we're on a mini vacation! So we did and it was fun. We had her party with the fam at the hotel, presents and yummy cookie cake, her favorite! Her cousin ended up staying with us for the night too so that was fun!






The next day we went to the mall and she got to spend her birthday money on whatever she wanted. She bought a few things like clothes and jewelry! Then I treated her to a trip to build-a-bear! She picked a cute bear and dressed it up as buzz lightyear! She had so much fun, I'm glad cause I thought she was too old for it now!





Then on her actual birthday we went to the zoo! We LOVE going to the zoo! I had asked off of work so I could spend the day with her on her birthday! Plus we went over to our friends house to pickup her gift from them! Which she LOVED, enough to wear it in her 10 year pictures! It was an outfit BTW. I would say that she had a VERY good 10th birthday!

What have I been doing?!

Nothing!! That is what I've been doing! Sad, very sad. It seems as though all I do is work! Ever since school got out I've been busier than BEFORE school got out! AHHHHHH! That's all I want to do right now. I want to be one of those stay at home moms or a part time worker so I can have more free time. The weekends just aren't' long enough. I have been taking a few hours and days off here and there, but I would much rather get to do what I want WHEN I want. My poor baby has to go to day care this summer too, only 3 days, but I've never sent her before! She doesn't mind too much, she likes to meet people and be busy. I guess I'm having another pity party. I REALLY don't have them very often, it's just that's what I seem to blog about lately. Sorry about that! I've not really taken very many pics lately, so here's one just so I can have a picture up!

Dreaming of NY!

I'm ready to go back to New York! I would love to go for 2 weeks this time and just go see EVERYTHING! If money wasn't an issue it could be super fun! I don't know why I've got the NY bug now, but i do! I guess it's just that I'm ready to go somewhere for a vacation! Oh well:( I probably won't go anywhere this summer, just stay home and go to the zoo(hopefully see Mr Craig the cute afterschool teacher) and MAYBE go to Dollywood(?), my friend Carla is talking me into getting DW passes this year. I'm thinking about it! So if I have a zoo pass AND a DW pass we can have some fun here this summer! Plus I hope to go camping too!

I've got to get some pictures up on this blog! Some day, I won't make promises!

Time to whine and complain.....

I've finally decided that it's my fault and only my fault that I am still single! And have been for the past 10 years!! Yes I said 10 years!!! Very sad I know. I am getting very tired of being single too, but I really have no clue as how to meet a guy! I have a problem with developing crushes on guys and then not doing anything about it. Mainly cause they already have a girlfriend, so I really don't know what to do! Why can't an awesome guy just come up to me and ask me out! That would be super easy! Like I have a crush on two guys right now, but they both have girlfriends, well I know for sure one does, but not positive about the other. Anyway, I just felt like having a little pity party for myself. I still feel like I'm that shy little girl and can't talk to anyone! I'm trying to be more outgoing but it's hard. Ok enough complaining!

On another note, I am so ready to go on vacation!! I'm trying to put back some money to go to the beach this summer. If it's just me and Audrey I still want to go! It could be lot's of fun going just me and her. So yeah, I'm going to try super hard to go somewhere this summer.

My brother and his family!

When we had our family Easter dinner, we all went outside to hangout and let the girls hunt for eggs. While we were out there I took some pics of Brian and his little family. I think I got some really good pictures of them. I did realize I didn't' have many pics of Pops though! She was playing with Audrey the whole time! So did manage to get her in the family pics! They haven't seen these pictures yet, I'm going to give them prints as a surprise! So here you go!

@ the zoo!

I LOVE going to the zoo! Since I have a kid I can actually go and people aren't asking me why!! I had my niece with us, so it was lot's more fun with 2 kids instead of 1! I took lot's and lot's of pictures of course, but I love to take pictures! While we were there we saw 2 people that we know! It's always fun to see people you know at the zoo, especially when they work there! One was a super fun girl I have worked with in the past, she's young and just silly! Always in a super happy fun mood! I love running into her at the zoo and we ALWAYS do! The other person we saw was one of Audrey's after school teachers. He is a super nice guy, he actually saw Audrey before she saw him and was like quietly yelling(?) at her! I think she kinda has a little crush on him, she ALWAYS lights up around him! I guess it's cute, a little girl crush! She will so want to kill me if she finds out I'm putting this on here! That's why she won't find out! It's kinda funny though about this guy, cause I could totally crush on him too! AND I kinda am crushing on him, but that's fine, I like to have crushes! Oh and he was finished with his work day and walked around with us for a 1/2 hour or so, that was fun! Alright enough about all that! Here are some pics from our day at the zoo!

My kit and BUTTONS!

I received my Studio Calico kit a few weeks ago and I am so excited to use it! I really don't know what I'm going to do with all the super cute stuff, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I'm so glad I FINALLY signed up for it!




I am somewhat of a button collector and LOVE to find pretty and interesting buttons. I work at a used appliance store and whenever they find a button in a dryer they know to give it to me, I love to see what it looks like cause it's always different from the last one they found! I was at Walmart the other night and found a bag of assorted buttons for $1! I was so excited about it!


Anyway I REALLY need to try harder to keep my blog updated, but I just never have time anymore! I will try harder though, I promise!

AHHHHH!!!!

So I FINALLY bought my dream camera!!! The Nikon D90!!! I've been wanting this camera FOREVER! Not anymore....it's MINE! My bestest friend in the world helped me make a for sure decision about it, and I am so glad she did. I am going to have so much fun learning how to use it! Luckily she knows a little about it! It's crazy going from a small Canon point & shoot with a 3 mega pixel to a Nikon d90 with a 12 mega pixel! WOW!!

It really is sad how fast they grow up.

School? Maybe? IDK!

So I've seriously been thinking about going to school this fall. I think I want to go, but I'm not sure. I mean I think I'm just nervous about going, I wasn't very good in school anyway, so the thought of going to college is unnerving! I know I will have to take a semester of just the basics and that is what scares me, the basics! Crazy I know! So I filled out the FAFSA form today, so I will find out how much help I will get money wise, can't wait! I still need to call the school and just make an appointment to talk to them, ahhhhh! I hate making life changing decisions, cause this def could be a life changing decision! I mean I'm not unhappy with my life, but I don't want to be where I am now in 10 yrs! Geez, this is stressing me out just thinking about it!! I feel like I will neglect my kid even more then I already do, but it's not forever and she is actually excited about her mom going to college! That part makes me smile! So that's all I have to say, I guess I'll keep everyone updated on the school thing. Oh yeah, another thing, I have NO IDEA what I'm going for! I mean no clue at all! Yeah I know, what am I thinking there! I do want to take a photography class and an art class of some sort. I'm sure there's more classes I would like to take, well I've already made a small list of some classes I want to take. So I am thinking about things some!
